Everything has meaning, doesn’t it? I’ve always been intrigued by the meaning of flowers. For example, it is common knowledge that a red rose means romance and a yellow rose signifies friendship. However, what about the lesser known floral treasures of the world. I have always loved Protea and their unusual appearance. This prehistoric beauty has been around for over 300 million years and was named after the Greek God, Poseidon. They signify courage and transformation. These were so perfect for Karissa and Caleb’s session as they are an accurate symbol of their growing relationship. These two were daring and fearless of the elements as we captured their affections. It was absolutely beautiful out and we had a splendid time. We wish these two 300 million years of love and growth!
