Don’t get me wrong, I definitely enjoy modern technology. I like it a little bit too much, to be honest. However, there is something about “old school” communication that makes my heart skip a beat – telephones, telegrams, old stationary, but especially post cards. I love the concept of sending a piece of a far away land back home to your loved ones. Lisa and Garrett incorporated vintage post cards into their wedding. It was just such a sweet, nostalgic touch to their big day.
Their wedding day story begins at 809 at Vickery, in Fort Worth, Texas. It is a beautiful, modern venue that suits Lisa and Garrett’s personalities perfectly! Lisa wore a lovely, lace gown adorned with delicate flowers. She finished off her wedding day look with a pair of cowboy boots, of course! What is a Texas girl to do without her boots?
After their ceremony, Lisa and Garrett took a bit of time to explore the urban area with us. This was great because we were able to find some wonderful locations for photos! During that time, their guests were having such a wonderful time at cocktail hour that they barely missed their presence! Once the Bride and Groom returned, the party was on! Their guests had the greatest time. We are wishing Lisa and Garrett an abundance of happiness in their marriage!
