There is just something magical about Live Oaks. They are just so incredibly majestic. It is so hard to imagine that this ginormous life force was once so small. I can only imagine all of the moments that have taken place under the winding branches of these trees. The Live Oak at Broussard Farm served as the altar for Brittney and Taylor as they pledged their vows to each other.
Broussard Farm is a beautiful property and it has a lot of history surrounding it. There is plenty of room for all of the Bridal Party to get ready and the reception space is so precious. The reception area is called Sevenne hall and it has some of the most adorable light fixtures. There is decor everywhere and it is all so shabby chic, which went perfectly with with Brittney’s decor! Brittney and her ladies dressed for the occasion in the Sevenne House. The Sevenne House itself has a unique little story. It was constructed in 1859, in Sour Lake, for the Sevenne family. The Sevenne family continued to occupy the home until the 1970’s when it was sold. In 2009, a great great grandson of the Sevenne’s purchased it and had it moved to its current location in Beaumont. It was the perfect location for Brittney’s grand surprise for her Bridesmaids. Brittney decided to do a First Look in her dress with her Bridesmaids. The ladies waited impatiently outside while they waited to see the Bride and all her glory. As you can see, it was worth the wait and Brittney looked Stunning. Afterwards, Brittney shared her First Look with her soon to be husband. They are such a playful couple and Brittney had to ring the bell just to let her groom know she was coming!
It had been such a rainy day and we were all concerned that the weather would prevent our couple from having their ceremony outside. It was an extremely close call, too! Luckily, the rain cleared up just in time and it made for a beautiful sunset. When the party started inside Sevenne Hall, all of Brittney and Taylor’s guests were able to start enjoying all of the treats they had prepared for them. This included frozen margaritas, a popcorn station, and a dessert bar! There were some of the most delicious baked goods on the dessert bar, including a cupcake with bacon! Yes, a cupcake with bacon! Their guests enjoyed the Swanky Photo Booth and all shed a tear when Brittney danced with her dad. Seriously, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
When it was time for all of the wedding festivities to wind down, Brittney and Taylor had a sparkler send off! It was so bright and so pretty! We are wishing Brittney and Taylor the very best in their married life!
