Let’s face it. At some point in the wedding planning process. every Bride (usually out of frustration) says, “Let’s elope!” Seriously though, elopements don’t get enough credit. They are so romantic and are little slices of heaven! Not to mention, they keep the focus on what your wedding day is about — the two of you! We have had the pleasure to photograph some amazing elopements, including Bethany and Duke’s! Their marriage took place at Murski Homestead Bed and Breakfast in Brenham, Texas. I love Bed and Breakfasts – they are so cozy and the owners are usually so hospitable. Especially in Murski’s case! Pamela, the owner of Murski’s, made Bethany’s bouquet and cake! Bethany and Duke were so sweet and loving. Seriously, it wouldn’t have mattered if there were a thousand guests present because they only had eyes for each other. However, they did have a few surprise guests from the animal kingdom! I always love those types of guests!
Bethany looked incredible in her gown and she included the most precious details throughout their day! This is why I love elopements. Just because you don’t have a ton of guests doesn’t mean you can’t have all the pretty little details! Just check out their sweetheart table! Isn’t it to die for??? Not to mention both pairs of shoes were fabulous! Every girl needs a pair of rubber boots! Especially with the weather we have been having lately! They were perfect for the muddy farm. We just know Bethany and Duke have the sweetest future ahead of them and are wishing them all the best!
