We all dreamed of having that fairy tale wedding at some point in our young lives. I certainly did. I mean, we were going to eat fruit roll ups and goldfish for dinner, have all kinds of animals as guests and ride giraffes for our exit, but whatever. I think for most of us, Disney plays a part in some of our earliest memories. For me, I wanted to be Belle…or Ariel…depending on the day. Belle for her Library. Ariel for Prince Eric. A little girl has her priorities! It seems that as we grow up, our outrageous ideas get more realistic and we just want that “Happily Ever After.” Which is exactly what Reba and David have… Oh and they had the Fairy Tale Wedding too. 🙂
The wedding took place at one of the most magical places on earth. No, not Disney World, but you are close! Hotel Galvez, of course! If you have ever been, you know what I am talking about! There is a certain magic that Hotel Galvez houses. Maybe it is the elegance or the History that took place inside those walls. I can never be certain, but it has that certain allure. Oh Galvez, how I long to be part of your world! Such a fitting place for Reba and David’s start of their “Happily Ever After!”
Reba definitely had her something blue. Not only did she have the cutest blue heart with their wedding date sewn into her dress, but her peacock cowboy boots had blue in them too. Extra Luck! Not that this perfect couple needs it! Her Dad was also sporting Disney inspired cuff links.
You want to know how to tell a true princess? It isn’t the pea method. It is all in the tears she sheds. I mean, look at Reba! She is gorgeous even when she is crying! Proving she is without a doubt a true princess! Such a beautiful and emotion filled ceremony. You can truly feel the love tonight.
After the ceremony, Reba and David asked everyone to be
our their guest at the reception. Such a beautiful ballroom filled with incredible orchids and Casablanca Lilies. The underlying Disney theme trickled into Reba’s Cake with their cake topper and “Happily Ever After” banner on the cake! So much magic and love in one room! Obviously all of their guests were able to let loose and have no worries in true Hakuna Matata style!
Their day was complete with my personal favorite, a confetti exit! I just love the bright, happy colors and the paper fluttering down on the beautiful couple! It looks exactly how your wedding day feels! These two have already started their “Happily Ever After,” but we are wishing them a million adventures together in their married life as they discover a whole new world together!
