I really, really love any form of personalization. Not just names, but dates and phrases too. Maybe this stems from the fact that I could never find anything with my name on it as a kid. You know, the pencils, the key chains or the “license plates” for your bike… Am I crazy? Or is there anyone else out there that suffered from this struggle as a child? If you do share the same affinity for personalized treasures as I do, then you are getting some serious eye candy today. We celebrated “the best day ever” alongside Bailey and Justin at The Grove in Downtown Houston. Bailey and Justin’s wedding was all about elegance and sophistication intertwined with fun personalized touches. Bailey gifted her parents handkerchiefs with the sweetest messages embroidered into them. Such a wonderful gift – and I love that they could easily become family heirlooms! Bailey gifted her leading ladies with personalized robes and hangers, but the best gift they received (at least in my opinion) were their own handkerchiefs with “No Ugly Crying” embroidered into them. Words can not express how much I love these handkerchiefs. So perfect.
It goes without saying that Bailey looked stunning in her elegant lace Oleg Cassini Gown – the fabric itself was so regal! The details on Bailey’s dress were so intricate and beautiful. Bailey always looks gorgeous, but she was truly glowing on this day!
The C. Baron team also had the pleasure of photographing Bailey and Justin’s first look! Wasn’t their first look fun and unique? Such an incredible photo opportunity. You can just see the excitement and anticipation building between the two as Bailey was approaching her soon to be Husband! Oh, and didn’t Justin look quite dapper in his “Best Day Ever” cufflinks and bow tie? Again, personalized cufflinks? They thought of everything!
Downtown Houston provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony atop The Grove’s Tree House Deck. The ceremony space was decorated with beautiful white flowers and lanterns. All of the white flowers were so billowy and provided the perfect amount of texture. We were blessed with a little “Bailey and Justin humor” as the flower girls carried a banner exclaiming “Last Chance to Run Justin!” Shortly thereafter our beautiful bride made her grand entrance and it was clear that Justin wanted to do anything except run!
We joined the party back inside The Grove’s Vista room. The funny thing about The Grove’s Tree house is even though you are in the middle of Downtown Houston, you truly feel like you are in the tree tops! Yet, if you look beyond the Live Oaks surrounding you, you have the cityscape right before you. The best of both worlds, right? The room was filled with luxurious textured flowers and sparkles. The sequins on the cake and the cake table were so pretty! I do have to wonder if all of that eye appeal was meant to foreshadow how your mouth would feel when eating that delicious cake! There was just so much beauty to take in. The night was even sweeter with all of the treats Bailey and Justin left for all of their guests to take home!
The City of Houston itself seemed to wish the Bride and Groom a happy wedding day with all of the twinkling city lights – they provided the most romantic glow. For the remainder of the night, Bailey and Justin’s guests danced their hearts out – even the littlest guests were out there shaking their tail feathers! This truly was the “best day ever!” We wish Bailey and Justin all the best of luck in their new adventure together!
