I was super excited for the little bit of rain we saw recently. You would think that I had seen enough of it with all of the rain we have seen in 2015! Don’t get me wrong, I love rain, but it has wreaked so much havoc on some of our beautiful bride’s plans! Weddings have been forced to be moved indoors and so many engagement sessions have had to be rescheduled because of torrential downpours! One such bride was our lovely, Kari. Kari had such a vision for her engagement session. This included antique furniture, formal wear, and their furbaby, Kobe. Sounds incredible already, right? Well, her session had to be rescheduled due to rain, not once, but three times! Three! I felt so bad for Kari each time this happened, but as you can see it was well worth the wait! The engagement session took place on Raveneaux Country Club’s golf course. If you haven’t been there, the place is absolutely gorgeous! The Country Club itself resembles a castle and the golf course has beautiful trees with Spanish moss hanging from them. It just feels like a magical place! When Kari and Matt arrived, you could tell that Kobe was super excited and ready to play. Yet, he somehow knew when it was time for his close up because he behaved perfectly! Didn’t he look handsome in his bow tie??? Even mother nature seemed to offer an apology for all of the unexpected rain because there was the most beautiful sunset that evening! We had so much fun riding the golf carts and capturing Kari and Matt’s incredible images. We can’t wait for their elegant fall wedding, as we know that it will be absolutely breathtaking!
