Happy New Year! So many couples choose New Year’s Eve as a wedding date. Why not? A night to ring in the New Year seems like the perfect time to ring in a new life together. That’s what Hailey and Miguel did and C. Baron was there to capture all the fun and memories for them. To make it more special, Hailey and Miguel chose Galveston for their wedding destination. Galveston has special meaning for this couple as it’s where Miguel proposed to Hailey. It was only right to be married there, too!
First, we partied at the Galveston Railroad Museum for their Rehearsal dinner (you may remember their Galveston engagement session – we had a lof of fun at the museum – you can see those images HERE). New Year’s Eve was cold and rainy, but that didn’t stop the fun and gorgeousness of the evening. The ceremony was held at the historic Sacred Heart Cathedral Church, It was a spectacular place for our couple to exchange their vows as family and friends watched.
Once the ceremony was over, everyone headed over on the trolley for the reception at another historic Galveston site, Garten Verein Everyone had great fun dancing to live music provided by The Line Up – seems like no one sat down all evening! As the clock struck midnight, all took part in tradition – lots of kissing and of course, sang Auld Lang Syne. As our couple made their getaway, they were was showered with confetti from family and friends. Congrats Hailey and Miguel!

Love this special moment, as the bride’s grandmother watches her daughter, the brides’s mother, watching the bride walk down the aisle. It was published on Moment Junkie
